Hey NewGrounds Crew,

I know its been a min since I last posted anything in my blog section. Just been so busy working on other projects and life, makes it hard to step away and capture my thoughts for a blog post. Let alone make it coherent enough for anyone to actually read lol, but I try my best.

So - my biggest project so far. It's been about 1 year now since I really started making hentai professionally and i've always admired Japanese studios. How they produce these episodic pieces to enjoy. Like many, grew up watching these full episodes, from Bible Black, Taimanin, La Blue Girl etc. Its always been a benchmark I've wanted to aim for.

Recently I got the opportunity to do just that. With amazing support from my fans, I was able to hire multiple Voice Actresses and *attempt* to create a story. Titled Honey Bunny Lust. Featuring a dark skin, white haired girl named Luna, who's half rabbit, half human, that's struggling as she goes into heat. I thought it was a fun idea, lots of potential to explore so I went with it.

What a wild experience. It was amazing to work wit VA like Lorian Loc, who really gave it 110% in her performance. This project also really challenged me, I learned so damn much along the way. I wish I could completely re-animate the film LOL but I guess that goes for any artist. Always wanting to continue to perfect your craft. One thing that was really challenging was getting the mouth movement to match the audio. Its challenging - to really capture the proper facial expression you come to expect when someone is shouting, talking softly, upset or happy. Lots of room to improve there but I see it as a new hill to climb.

So, this has been on my mind for a bit. When did I first encountered Hentai?

The more I pondered on it, the more it brought me back. Not to sound like an old fossil. But the first time I gazed upon the forbidden fruit was when Animated Gifs were king. When surfing the internet was a real thing, and the net itself had no real rules, structure, morale code. It really was the wild west. Thats when I first discovered these animated gifs produced by a company - Sogna.

Sogna was way ahead of their time. Before the invasion of Orcs, before people discovered Bible Black, they were the real O G when it came to Hentai. Their claim to fame was making by far the most impressive CG Games in Japan. Due to how their visuals graphics were gifs, made it easy for them to spread across the early net days. Their most famous piece by far was Viper RSR.

Seeing these gifs was like opening a window into this Japanese culture I had no idea existed. It was like discovering a new color you've never seen before. I was met with mixed emotions of excitement, confusion, but mostly astonishment.

Since then, many years ago, I've slowly navigated the deep waters of Hentai.

Introductions are in order - Nice to meet you, i'm HoneyBttch. Maybe not the greatest name ever created but I grew tired of trying to come up with a clever name that wasnt already taken. So I went with this. About me you ask? Well I'm a aspiring new Hentai Artist, or at least, trying.

Creating Hentai has more of less been a hobby of mine over the past few years and decided to shift to professional. It's a new field I'm exploring and it's been refreshing. Far more exciting to work on than the typical work you find at a fortune 500 company to say the least.
